MONDAYS - Lights Up Musical Theatre
Grades K-7

Experience the joys and benefits of musical theatre by taking part in our afterschool programs led by our talented and experienced Lights Up Musical Theatre Schools staff. Sing, Dance, Act, Shine! How to train your dragon? Wonder no more! This winter, Lights Up afterschool students will dive into a world of Vikings, dragons, and unexpected friendship. Inspired by the popular Dreamworks movie, with our own musical twist, embark on a heroic adventure as we learn together… How to Train Your Dragon! Performance for family and friends on the last day of classes.

TUESDAYS - BrainSTEM: Robotics Engineering: Intro to Sequencing and Sensors
Grades 2-6

Become a robot maker in this hands-on course! Using VEX IQ hardware, you’ll design, build, and program robots to complete tasks that will challenge your creativity and problem-solving skills. WEDNESDAYS - Artmania Comics and Claymation
Grades K-7

This after-school club is all about cartoons, animation, and claymation fun!
Students use our Artmania studio tablets to design characters, write mini scripts, and bring their creations to life. Then, they sculpt their characters in 3D and learn real animation techniques to make their own short movies—perfect for showing off to family and friends!

THURSDAYS - Sportball | Multisport

Multi-Sport is the perfect way for children to explore the world of sports. This fun and engaging program lets kids try just about everything including soccer, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, golf, and tennis.

THURSDAYS - Brainiacs: Adventures
Grades K-7
- When: Thursdays, 2:50 pm to 5:00 pm
- Dates: Jan 15 to Mar 12 (March 5 – Early Dismissal 1:50-4:00pm)

Come explore the power of strategic thinking through fun, engaging, hands-on and strategy-based board-games such as Chess, Mastermind, Blokus, Chinese Checkers, Match Madness, Codenames and many more. Enroll your child in this screen-free class that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving. In this adventure, students will learn the importance of planning, making thoughtful choices and understanding the reasons behind their decisions while playing games and having fun. The program will focus on teaching kids new board-games, strategic foundations, skill development and game strategy improvement. When playing chess, the focus will be on learning piece functions, openings, endgame tactics, variations and puzzles (depending on the skill level).

FRIDAYS - After School Basketball
Grades 4-7

North Shore Basketball Academy Coaches will teach participants skills and concepts required to have a solid foundation in basketball. These sessions will focus on skill-development through an active games based approach with league style 3v3 game-play and skill based challenges to prepare kids for upcoming school basketball and beyond. Every level is welcome and our focus as always is fitness and fun align with improving your skills. Every participant will receive a North Shore Basketball Academy T-Shirt.

- Cost: $298 + GST. This price is for one day per week.
Sibling Discount: Additional siblings pay only $50 + GST per membership. (Please email us at tigerseyekaratedo@gmail.com to register additional siblings.)
Registration Options:
Students may register for one day per week (Tuesday or Thursday) or both days.
By starting karate at a young age, children are taught skills that will be useful throughout their whole lives, such as discipline, focus, balance, coordination, teamwork, and respect.
Pick-Up Procedure
- Kindergarten & Grade 1:
Our staff will pick up your child directly from their classroom and escort them safely to the Tiger’s Eye pick-up van. - Grades 2 and up:
Students will meet our staff at the Tiger’s Eye pick-up van at the designated meeting spot on school grounds.
This system ensures all children are accounted for and transitioned safely and smoothly each day.
What Parents Can Expect
Snack & Play:
Upon arrival, children enjoy a light snack, games like chess or board games, crafts & arts, and supervised activities to help them unwind before class.
Class Schedule:
Karate & self-defense classes run from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Students are placed in the appropriate age group:
- Tiny Tigers (Ages 5–6)
- Junior Class (Ages 7–11)
Pick-Up Time:
Parents can pick up their child at 5:00 PM from our Pemberton location.
Additional Notes
- All students are required to wear a Tiger’s Eye Karate uniform. Uniforms are mandatory and not included in the registration fee.

- Location: St. Catherine’s Anglican Church gymnasium (children will be met at the school by our Coaches, walked to the church, and can be picked up there at 4:50pm)

Our anti-bullying Jiu Jitsu program takes a holistic approach to children’s personal development by combining Jiu Jitsu and physical fitness with mental discipline, self-esteem, community building, and critical thinking. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is also a fantastic way to teach coordination, gross and fine motor skills, balance, pattern recognition, and strategy. Students will learn how to defend themselves against bullying without using strikes; focusing on Jiu Jitsu techniques that allow them to control and neutralize their opponent while promoting confidence, problem-solving skills, non-violent conflict resolution, and allyship.

Grades 2-7
- When: Grades 2-3, Grades 4-6 (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm); Grade 7 (Saturdays)
- Dates: January-March
- Location: UNIT 224, 125 Victory Ship Way. At Cleveland, in front of the school. We will walk in to collect the children and cross them at the street.

Before Academy Care (Feb 25, Mar 4 & Mar 5 ): $45/day
Our academy program runs during the school year from the first week of September to the last week of June. We offer a high-quality STEM/STEAM program for children and youth from Grades K-12 that is cohort/group based, hands-on with highly experienced and passionate instructors. We offer local school pickup from nearby North Vancouver schools.

- Location: St Catherine’s Anglican Church (Farsi teachers will walk the students from the school to the class at 3 pm)

Give your child the opportunity to learn Farsi in a fun and engaging way! This program follows British Columbia’s official Farsi curriculum, focusing on essential reading and writing skills. Our interactive approach makes language learning exciting through arts, music, storytelling, and hands-on crafts.
