There are a variety of fantastic programs the CPAC organizes for the Cleveland families, for students and parents, from learning to lunches to lunges. Take a look at some of the things happening at Cleveland, and be sure to check back as there’s always something new in the pipeline.

After school programs for Spring term opens Monday March 1st! Registration closes Friday April 6th at 8 pm.

 

Our Spring after-school programs features a variety of sports, yoga, arts, science, and technology. Spring programs run from April 13 to June 19, 2026.

MONDAYS - Artmania Comics and Claymation

Grades K-7

  • When: Mondays, 2:50 pm to 5 pm
  • Dates: April 13 to June 15 (No class May 4 & 18)
  • Location: Small Gym

Have you ever wanted to bring your own comic book to life?

In this fun and imaginative after-school program, kids dive into comic sketching, scriptwriting, character design, and action-packed layouts.

From manga and superheroes to hilarious comic strips and epic fantasy adventures, students explore bold drawing and colouring techniques — and create their very own comic book!

Plus, try our studio tablets to animate a short digital clip to add to your collection.

TUESDAYS - Wellness with R.A.N.I

Grades K-3

  • When: Tuesdays, 2:50 pm to 4:20 pm
  • Dates: April 14 to June 16 (No class May 19)
  • Location: Small Gym
  • Cost: $240

Give your child a relaxing, fun, and empowering end to their school day with our Afterschool Yoga Program for students in Kindergarten through Grade 3. Each week, children will explore kid-friendly yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindful movement that build strength, balance, and flexibility—while also helping them manage big feelings and stress. Through playful games, imaginative themes, and calming relaxation time, students gain confidence, focus, and body awareness in a warm, supportive environment. No experience needed—just comfortable clothes, a water bottle, and a willingness to move and have fun!

WEDNESDAYS - Brainiacs: Adventures

Grades K-7

  • When: Wednesdays, 2:50 pm to 5:00 pm (Early dismissal, 1:50 pm to 4:00 pm)
  • Dates: April 15 to June 17 (Early dismissal April 29 & May 27)
  • Location: TBD
  • Cost: $395 + GST + registration fee

Come explore the power of strategic thinking through fun, engaging, hands-on and strategy-based board-games such as Chess, Mastermind, Blokus, Chinese Checkers, Match Madness, Codenames and many more. Enroll your child in this screen-free class that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving. In this adventure, students will learn the importance of planning, making thoughtful choices and understanding the reasons behind their decisions while playing games and having fun. The program will focus on teaching kids new board-games, strategic foundations, skill development and game strategy improvement. When playing chess, the focus will be on learning piece functions, openings, endgame tactics, variations and puzzles (depending on the skill level).

THURSDAYS - Sportball | Multisport

Grades K-3

  • When: Thursdays, 2:50 pm to 3:50 pm
  • Dates: April 16 to June 18
  • Location: Small Gym
  • Cost: $200

Multi-Sport is the perfect way for children to explore the world of sports. This fun and engaging program lets kids try just about everything including soccer, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, golf, and tennis.

FRIDAYS - After School Basketball

Grades 4-7

  • When: Fridays, 2:50 pm to 3:50 pm
  • Dates: April 17 to June 12
  • Location: Big Gym
  • Cost: $160

North Shore Basketball Academy Coaches will teach participants skills and concepts required to have a solid foundation in basketball. These sessions will focus on skill-development through an active games based approach with league style 3v3 game-play and skill based challenges to prepare kids for upcoming school basketball and beyond. Every level is welcome and our focus as always is fitness and fun align with improving your skills. Every participant will receive a North Shore Basketball Academy T-Shirt. Players will be grouped by age and skill.

OFFSITE: TUESDAYS - Jiu-Jitsu Anti-Bullying

Grades K-7

  • When: Tuesdays 2:50 pm – 4:50 pm
  • Dates: April 14 to June 16
  • Location: St. Catherine’s Anglican Church gymnasium (children will be met at the school by our Coaches, walked to the church, and can be picked up there at 4:50pm)
  • Cost: $300 + GST

Our anti-bullying focused Jiu-Jitsu program takes a holistic approach to children’s personal development by combining Jiu Jitsu and physical fitness with mental discipline, self-esteem, community building, and critical thinking. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic way to teach coordination, gross and fine motor skills, balance, pattern recognition, and strategy. Students will learn how to defend themselves against bullying without using strikes; focusing on Jiu Jitsu techniques that allow them to control and neutralize their opponent while promoting confidence, problem-solving skills, non-violent conflict resolution, and allyship. Students will be met by our coach at school and walked with supervision to St. Catherine’s Church gymnasium (off-site) where they will take part in a two hour class, and can then be picked up at St. Catherine’s at 4:50pm.

Grades K-7

  • When: Thursdays 3:00 – 5:00 pm
  • Dates: April 16 to June 18
  • Location: St Catherine’s Anglican Church 
  • Cost: $330 (Financial accommodations available).

Give your child the opportunity to learn Farsi in a fun and engaging way! This program follows British Columbia’s official Farsi curriculum, focusing on essential reading and writing skills. Our interactive approach makes language learning exciting through arts, music, storytelling, and hands-on crafts. $30 discount with the promo code S26 (valid until March 20) Financial Accommodations Available.
