Walk & Roll Challenge May 22-25

District of North Vancouver Mayor, Richard Walton, has declared May 22-25 to be the Walk and Roll School Challenge for all DNV schools. We encourage all families to walk or roll to Cleveland for the entire week.

The DNV is asking families to submit photos of their school commute. And there are prizes to win too! Read more info here. And next week we also have KM Club; on Tuesday and Thursday there will be an optional ‘run over’ from Eldon Park leaving at 8AM.  Participants will receive 3 sticks for this extra commute!

Bike Week is June 11-15

All students, parents and staff are encouraged to ride their bikes to school. If you live too far away, we encourage you to park a 5-10 minute ride away and enjoy the ride in with your kids!
There will be secure bike parking on the lower field for the day. THIS IS A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO GET OUR KIDS OUT ON BIKES! Riding a bike is a fantastic life skill!
This year we will again be working with our two bike charities: Bikes for Tykes and Bicycles for Humanity.
We will need lots of volunteers!   SIGN UP HERE

Why does CPAC Fundraise?

Each year, the Cleveland PAC drafts a budget in order to fund resources, equipment and opportunities to enhance Cleveland students’ experience of the school curriculum and engagement in learning. Fundraising priorities are identified through consultation with the school’s administration and teachers. As parents we are all members of the Cleveland PAC and you are invited to attend monthly PAC meetings to contribute your ideas and ask questions. Over the past few years, CPAC has made contributions to the school totaling more than $100,000.

CPAC still needs one more Hot Lunch Coordinator to organize a weekly hot lunch delivery. Our hot lunch program is well-liked by parents for the convenience it offers, and represents the largest single source of fundraising income for the CPAC’s annual budget.

Filling the position of Hot Lunch Coordinator is vital to the program’s existence and the CPAC’s capacity to fund the projects and expenses all students benefit from.
